PYTHON DEVELOPER

We are seeking a talented Python API Developer to join our team. This is a remote/flexible role working with the business team based in Perth and the core development team in Philippines. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality, scalable, and maintainable Python-based APIs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Python, web development, and API development best practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop RESTful APIs that integrate with various applications and services.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Design and develop scalable, robust, and secure Python-based APIs

· Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse requirements and design solutions.

· Integrate APIs with various applications and services.

· Ensure the APIs are scalable, reliable, and easy to maintain.

· Troubleshoot and debug production issues.

· Continuously improve and optimize the API performance.

· Keep up to date with emerging trends and technologies in API development and web development

Requirements

· Must know Flask

· Able to create APIs using Python

· Able to integrate third party API. ex. Google APIs, XERO

· Aws lambda function

· Database management

Educational Background

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Desired

· Experience in Sendgrid, Twilio or Xero

· Knowledge of message queues and event-driven architectures

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: From $70,000.00 per year
